    Story

We are fundraising to raise money to purchase pipes and pumps that can be connected to a local waterhole in Mitimingi, Kenya. We are asking our friends to contribute £10 each and send by 12th September 2017.

This will improve local peoples access to clean water- water will reach more families that find it hard to travel daily to the water hole.

Green houses will be built with water pipes and pumps fitted in to ensure that fresh fruit and vegetables can be grown across the village regardless of the weather and especially in the drought season.

We are passionate about this cause as this is a village we have visited many times over 10 years- we have committed to raise £1,000 towards this ongoing project this year. There will be a few fundraisers to reach the total target which in the future will result in water being pumped 770 meters, reaching 100s of people with clean domestic tap water and local green houses being built with facilities to also make bottled water to sell locally.

THANK YOU FOR YOUR GENEROUSITY! A message from Jonah and Paul... Now that we are finishing piping, the next part of the project will be to raise funds for the irrigation kits and taps. We are intending to grow vegetables and fruits on the 1 acre land and are expecting to have a healthy community as a result!. We also hope by employing 10 people to farm on the 1 acre land poverty will be reduced if not kicked out! Contact Samson and Tanya to find out more about the next stage of the project...
