Story
I am excited to have this fantastic opportunity to take part in the Sri Lanka Challenge, making a real difference to the lives of children in the local community. Our group from Sacred Heart will be involved in rebuilding/refurbishing classrooms and teaching the children, as well as installing water tanks and working with local families in the village. This is such a worthwhile cause and will make a huge impact on the lives of people who are less privileged than ourselves.
Through this visit we will develop a wide range of skills including leadership and team building skills. I am looking forward to learning about the culture and religion of the country and hope that I will help to make a difference to the lives of those in the village.
Whatever contribution you can make, be it large or small, will help me towards achieving this target. Thank you so much for your support.
