Moon Sisters aims to provide a sustainable flow of sanitary protection for women who cannot afford to buy them across the UK. For the average woman in the UK we don’t take into account the costs of menstrual supplies, we just see them as a necessity for our personal hygiene. However, some women are unable to accommodate to their personal needs and steer towards using unhygienic and sometimes dangerous alternative methods. With the rising number of women falling under the poverty line, the time for action couldn’t come any sooner.
