Story
The Mary Thompson Fund (MTF) is a registered charity (1112610) which provides financial help for refugees and people seeking asylum in the Stockton-on-Tees and Middlesbrough area. The MTF seeks to help people where no statutory funding is available.
Weekly donations are given to people to enable them to buy food, toiletries and essentials. Without this help, some people would go hungry. The MTF is totally dependent on people giving and is run by volunteers.

8 years agoHi everyone, thanks for your huge support. So far we have raised £295. That's over half of our £500 target. We are also featured in the letters page of the Northern Echo so fame for the Channellers. We really appreciate your support. The Mary Thomspson Fund means so much to so many people, without it some people would not eat or keep warm.
