Alongside 17 other 16-17 year olds from my school, i shall be travelling to India, not only for a truly life altering experience but to volunteer in a school within the slums of Chenai, India. On this journey, we will be experiencing what its like to live within the conditions of small villages and will also go trecking through the mountains of east India, visiting the worlds highest Tea plantations. For me, the most important part of this jouney will be volunteering with the Orphans living in Chenai, as i have a strong passion for charity work and causes like this are bery close to my heart, this element of the trip will most certainly put a new perspective on my own life and will also make me come back more humbled and appreciative.
