Story
I am Maisie and I was 5 in May, it's nice having my birthday then but I was meant to be born at the end of August!
My daddy calls me "My Amazing Maisie."
I was born extremely early after being in my mummy's tummy for just 25 weeks and 3 days and spent the first 5 months or so of my life at the Victoria Hospital, Kirkcaldy on the Special Care Baby Unit where all the nurse and doctors, well everyone who was there did an amazing job helping me to overcome many challenges.
My best friend Jessica who I love very much also spent a short time with me on the ward and to go some way towards paying them back for all the amazing care we got we are doing a sponsored walk over the new Queensferry Crossing on Sunday 3rd September which is a very long way for our wee legs.

7 years agoMaisie and Jessica have completed their sponsored walk, they had a fantastic day and a great deal of fun (and a wee bit of complaining it was too far). They raised almost £800 for the Special Care Baby Unit at Kirkcaldy where they both spent some time- Thank you to everyone who sponsored them, you've been very generous!
