I am hoping to raise at least £1000 to help Martyn Ashton, one of the best cyclists to grace the sport who was paralysed from T7 down, reach his goal of raising £10,000 for Wings for Life.

I also broke my back in a mountian bike accident in the same year and the neck brace that I was wearing at the time stopped me from fracturing higher up so saved my life. The neck brace company also works in conjunction with Wings for life.

I was fortunate enough to make a full recovery but unfortunately, Martyn was not, nonetheless he still endevours to continue with the sport that he loves using adapted bikes as you can see in the most uplifting and inspirational video I have ever seen. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8bvOSROntYE
