While you sit there in your comfy sofa lounging around without many cares in the world there are people who fear for their lives every minute of every approaching day.

One such are the forgotten refugees of Rohingya, who fled from their homes in Myanmar to seek refuge in Bangladesh. They were driven out through ethnic cleansing which is yet to be classed as an obvious case of genocide - a crime against humanity. They were classed as immigrants in Burma and denied basic rights. Rohingya Muslims make up a large minority of the population of Myanmar, also known as Burma.

There are now almost a million Rohingya refugees in Bangladesh, who are constantly fearful of the future. The hardships and enduring pain faced are unimaginable to us. These 671,000+ refugees are now residing in overcrowded camps with very poor living conditions and a lack of basic amenities. They are constantly faced by the danger of flooding and mudslides. Families and children are at risk of deadly water-borne diseases like cholera and diphtheria.

These people are in crisis and require lifesaving aid including monsoon defence kits. The annual rain monsoon is fast approaching, and within weeks many makeshift shelters will be soaked and wrecked. Their dirt floors will be turned to mud. Gusts of winds will rip apart their bamboo and plastic roofs.
