As many of you may already be aware, this summer I have been offered a very exciting opportunity to go and teach in the school on board the OM (Operation Mobilisation) ship, The Logos Hope.

OM is a Christian organisation who work to share knowledge, help and hope around the world. They do this in a variety of ways including: providing education, relief, medical support, training young people with life skills, encouraging and supporting cross-cultural understanding and service and supplying literature resources.

The main role I will have, during the 5 weeks that I will be on-board, will be teaching a group of year 5/6 children. I am excited to learn from the people I will meet and am looking forward to developing a wider cultural understanding. I will also be throwing myself into any extra opportunities that arise whilst I am away. I also hope that, throughout my time there, I will be able to share any relevant skills and knowledge that I have developed during my career so far.

During the time that I will be on-board, the ship will be docked in and around Central America (mainly Mexico and Panama).
If you feel that you would like to support this experience in any way (through prayer/sponsorship) – I would be so very grateful!!
My aim is to pay for my flights on my own and raise money towards any additional travel needed to get to the ship, my ship fee per night, vaccinations and health/travel insurance.
I would love to be able to bless OM further; therefore any extra money raised will be given to the work of OM as a gift during my time there.
