Hello Friends,

Recently the north of Lombok, Indonesia, was struck by an earthquake. I saw buildings collapsing and people running for their lives; I was one of them. About 2000 of us spent the night at a hill worried about the possibility of the tsunami. We were evacuated from the island a day after by government boats.

There were roughly 320 casualties of the earthquake. Hundreds lost their houses and are now staying in tents lacking electricity, water and food. They need our help urgently. I am asking each of you to donate any amount that you feel comfortable with to those who suffered in this disaster. The sum will be donated to the Red Cross UK that is now physically operating in Lombok.
