Story
The Federation of Scapegoat Hill and Linthwaite Clough schools – SLCF (shared learning community) began on the 1st September 2015 and is going from strength to strength.
Every pupil is at the core of what we do and every pupil deserves
success.
Whilst the two schools are linked by a common philosophy and by common expectations, they retain their own particular identities and characteristics, each being supported to develop in recognition of this.
Children describe the curriculum provided as 'memorable' and we are passionate about ensuring that their learning in computing meets the children's high expectations of an enjoyable and life enhancing curriculum. Therefore, it is important that we 'move with the times' as a federation and provide the children with the best possible equipment enabling them to explore their potential for computational thinking.
We are a group of colleagues who have decided to climb the Yorkshire Three Peaks over one day to raise funds for the Federation of Scapegoat Hill and Linthwaite Clough Schools.
On behalf of the children and colleagues of both schools, we would like to thank you for your support.

6 years agoMany thanks for all the donations - we very much appreciate it. The walk was good fun and I would recommend it to anyone; although, it was a labour of love in parts. The views over Pen y Ghent as we descended from Ingleborough were breath taking and made for a lovely end to a great a day. Perhaps next year, some of you would like to join me? The more the merrier!

You'll be glad of those cycling legs whilst climbing up Ingleborough and Pen-y-ghent! Good luck with the descents though - they're nowhere near as much fun.
