Natalie was glassed by her partner in 2015 leaving her blind in the left eye. Since then Natalie has undergone 5 surgeries to her eye, a titanium mesh implant to hold her eye up, laser surgery to reduce the fluid build up around the brain, lens removal, cataracts removal and her eyelid sown back together.

Dispite the NHS performing all this, unforntaley Natalie's sight is too badly damaged. Natalie's brain has now suppressed her left eye fully, leaving her with only sight in the right eye.

Natalie had begged the NHS to operate on her brain as it's now a neurological problem, but this was refused. There is treatment available in America that can 're train Natalie's brain and give her a chance at sight.

Natalie was signed off by the NHS Jan 24th 2018 and told to just live her life with the remaining sight she has as there are no more options available after catarayx surgery, lens replacement, laser eye surgery, eyelid 're attached and titanium implant in her eye socket.

Natalie suffers from depression due to the trauma and took 3 months off work in 2016 to recover. Natalie returned to work but with very minimal lightning as this is too painful.

Natalie has a depth perception issue for example going to a car park Natalie takes a long time to press the button as things seem closer or further away. Natalie's hand eye coordination is extreamty affected as she can not see to the left hand side.

Through extensive research there are private operations and neurological 're training centres that Natalie can attend to hopefully regain sight in her left eye. Some are in the UK and some are outside. There are no guarnteed results but a shot at sight again is worth it.
