Nathan Maguire is an elite wheelchair racer, who competes internationally for Great Britain. Last year, at just 19 years old, he competed at the World Para Athletics Championships, held in London. Here, he came 6th in the 200m final, amongst an established field of senior athletes. Nathan also competed in the 4x400m relay in the Rio 2016 Paralympic Games, narrowly missing out on a place in the final.

As with any sport, there is a cost involved. Overseas competitions are vital to his development and offer his only opportunity to line up against the best in the World.

This year, Nathan has been selected to represent Team England at the Commonwealth Games in the Gold coast, Australia. He will race against an elite field in the T54 1500m. With your support, his dream of an international Gold medal will come much quicker.
