We want to raise money to support a project that sell alternative sustainable sanitary products with all profits going to a charitable project that focuses on taboos surrounding menstruation and sanitation and aims to provide sustainable female sanitary products to homeless women in Bristol.

We will be completing a fun march around the centre of Bristol on Wednesday 23rd August 2017. We would love for you to sponsor us as all profits will be donated to No More Taboo who are currently trying to raise funds to provide sustainable female sanitary products to homeless women in Bristol.

“Having your period is the worst time for a woman whilst being homeless.”

We will be wearing white t shirts with period puns on the front and marching through Bristol from Bristol zoo, down Whiteladies Road, along Park Street and through the Centre to Broadmead. We hope people will see us, start talking about periods and reduce the taboo surrounding them. We also wish to inform people about reusable sanitary products such as menstrual cups.

No More Taboo's goal is to reduce the environmental impact of disposable sanitary products. They also aim to break the silence around menstruation and sanitation. They strive to empower women to improve their menstrual hygiene and access to sanitation.

Our NCS group feel this is a great cause and are really keen help support it and hope you do too.
