We are a group of fifteen 16year olds accompanied with two leaders. We were taking part in the NCS programme to meet new people and boost our confidence - but now that's achieved - we'd like to make a change, big or small.

We would love to raise and give money towards the homeless because our hearts melt whenever we see someone struggling in the streets of our local area. We'd love to raise awareness for all homelessness in the country but we will be donating to charities in Bath and Chippenham, which is more local to us. We want to help them but this way we can make a bigger difference, together.

Therefore, we've planned to do embarrassing fancy dress runs in our towns while street collecting and visiting homeless shelters to distribute food, but we have many more ideas to aid the homeless. Another idea we've planned to do on the 16th August is a 'rural rough sleep'. Our group has organised this so that we can replicate the conditions of the homeless and be more emotive of what they have to go through day in, day out. We have also organised to bag pack in Chippenham Tesco, on the 14th and 15th August, in order to raise more awareness and any loose change. We hoped to do more, however it would still be much appreciated if you could sponsor us, even £1 will go a long way for someone living on a concrete floor.

We'd just love to put smiles on people's faces who we feel get neglected and help them as much as possible.
