We are aiming to support the people in our local community that need it the most. As a team we have come up with a social action project to help a wide range of people from children in hospital to people in care homes and people living on the streets around Shrewsbury. Our aim is to fill shoe boxes with things that these people might need such as colouring books and teddies for children, disposable cameras and jigsaws for people in care homes and wet wipes, books and toothbrushes for people living on the streets. To enable us to supply these products for people, we will be putting on various events to raise money such as cake sales and car boot sales so we can buy these products to put in our shoe boxes. Each shoe box will cost between £5 - £10 to fill and our target is to raise £2000 to provide a minimum of 200 boxes to these various people within our local community. Any donations - big or small can make a massive difference!
