Story
The nurses at the King's Lynn hospital have asked us to build them a small area to relax and take breaks in after a long hard day.
Nurses are often threatened, as the budget of the NHS gets smaller. So we have decided to raise money, and give them the best possible area that we can. Nurses help to save lives, and we think that we should give something back to the people who try so hard to keep our friends and family alive and well.
We want to build an area that will give the nurses a comfortable place to take a break, and it will also be used by trainees and other members of staff from around the hospital's Inspire center. We plan to build benches and flower beds that look both eye catching and relaxing. we believe that this will help increase the treatment of patients as the staff can take a break in this beautiful area we have built for them.
We will use the funds to buy tools, and building materials such as timber, and cement. We are only asking for £500, but anything over this is acceptable with our overall goal from our other fundraising efforts to reach at least £700. Please help us give back to the people that do so much for our community, as they are never given the respect they deserve for the hard work that they put in.
Team 162 would be incredibly grateful for any donation we receive, no matter how small it is. Every donation will help us in ways that will lead to a better end goal, such as the ability to buy more or higher quality tools and materials.
