Connie and Nelu are an amazing couple who flew over from Romania to england to start a career in care work and looking after people with severe dementia. They’ve been here 5 years and have made so many people happy and well over the years and worked extremely hard to make sure everyone is well cared for. They have infectious smiles and we all feel lucky to have worked with them both. Sadly a few weeks ago our amazning collegues and freinds got horrifc news that change their life forever.

Begining of june Connie and Nelu were going about their daily life coming to work but unfortunaly Connie had the sad news her mum had suddenly died so they had to use all there savings to fly back to romania for the funeral which meant not working and loosing money. Whilst over in Romania Connie was hospitailased for a serious condition which left them stuck in Romania with no work or money, whilst this was happeneing and we thought it couldn’t get much worse Nelu was in a horrific car accident involving himself, his sister and brother inlaw who of which are still in intensive care and have yet to wake up.

Nelu himself has got severe injurys to his lower back, hips and legs and a infetion in his hips which means he has been in and out of contionousness since the accident. Doctors are unsure of the out come of Nelu‘s injuries which are life theeatening. Connie has had to fly back to the UK and start working again to raise money for Nelu’s medical bills, these are thousands and thousands of pounds.

We are starting this ‘go fund me’ Page to raise money for our loved colleuges and friends to get him better, home and well back to his lovely happy self again.
