New Fingers & Toes for Mom!

Life is interesting! It takes us in directions we often never imagine we might need to go.

After a 14 hour heart operation where mom, Helen Watson, was given a 15-20% survival rate for the operation, mom has developed severe necrosis in her fingers & toes. At first it was her whole hands and feet that were necrotic & we were initially told that she might loose her hands & lower arms up to the elbows as well as lose her feet up to possibly her knees. Miraculously the necrosis over the last couple of months has moved down her hands and feet. But, she will still sadly loose all 8 fingers (her thumbs are ok) and some toes.

My sister & I have decided to set up this fund raiser to raise funds for new prosthetic fingers & toes for our mom, plus any additional equipment she might need to make her life easier, when she eventually gets home. Any funds remaining will be donated to others with necrosis.
