Story
Staff, Residents & Families will be walking from New Forest Quaker Care Home (New Milton) to Highcliffe castle & back! (This is nearly 9KM!!!)
Saturday 23rd October @ 1pm.
We're looking to raise funds for a sensory table for our residents wellbeing, we believe this would help our residents with their cognitive and physical abilities as it has been proven to battle isolation and promotes active participation from residents.
We did have this table in for a trial and it was a huge hit with our residents and staff alike! with this table we would be able to provide activities on all sorts of surfaces (floors, walls ceilings and tables of any size)
They would be able to use this table in the lounge in a group activity or one-on-one in their rooms or other quieter areas. This would be a great asset for our wellbeing plan for all our residents as they can be used for so many different things.
