    Story

    Cause:

I'm passionate about supporting children with sensory sensitivities, especially those with Autism, like my youngest son, Ellison. Many children with sensory needs face challenges in everyday environments due to sensory overload, which can result in distress and disruptions.

    Why I'm Doing It:

I've recently become an ambassador for Cubbie, a company that's making a significant impact on the neurodivergent community. Cubbie has developed the Cubbie Sensory Hub, an innovative, customizable space that provides a safe and calming environment for children with sensory needs.

I’ve experienced first hand the obstacles that children with sensory sensitivities come up against. Knowing how invaluable Cubbie’s are, I’d love more children to have access to the units and this is why I’m fundraising.

I want to raise enough money to get Cubbie’s installed in the places they are needed like schools, airports & train stations. Supporting Cubbie, is a direct way for me to offer my help.

    What It's For:

I'm raising funds to install Cubbie Sensory Hubs in schools and public places, ensuring that more children can benefit from this incredible innovation. The goal is to create inclusive and supportive spaces where children with sensory sensitivities can thrive and feel at ease.

By donating and participating in the fundraiser, you can join me in making a real difference in the lives of these children and their families. Your support is crucial in creating a more inclusive world for neurodivergent individua

Key Features of the Cubbie Sensory Hub:

Immersive Multi-Sensory Experience: The Cubbie Sensory Hub is an immersive multi-sensory space that adapts to the specific needs of the user by changing the type of video, music, or lighting settings. This adaptability ensures that each child can find the perfect sensory experience.

Personalized Profiles: Users have their own personal profiles, allowing them to keep track of their sensory breaks and ensuring they are effective. This feature is invaluable in tailoring the experience to meet the individual needs of each child.

Expert Support: The Cubbie Sensory Hub is supported by Occupational Therapists who design the sensory breaks based on the users' needs. They continuously improve and customize the programs to provide the best possible experience.

Accessible to All: It's important to note that the Cubbie Sensory Hub is not exclusive to children with sensory needs. Anyone feeling anxious or stressed can benefit from its soothing features. Plus, it's incredibly easy and intuitive to use, making it accessible to all.

Building a Supportive Network: Cubbie is actively working to create a network through communities, allowing people with sensory stress and anxiety to access the Cubbie Sensory Hub and participate in daily activities. This fosters a sense of belonging and support among neurodivergent individuals.

Cubbies, fantastic! As a mother who has a son on the spectrum, now an adult. I have a better understanding and how difficult it can be to do everyday things we take for granted. Humour is paramount .x
