Hi All,

I am taking on to run my 2nd half marathon on 24th of September in an effort to raise funds for a dear friend and her son, who have literally lost everything through no fault of their own.

I have pains and aches is places that I did not have when I ran my 1st half 3 years ago, but these are nothing compared to the pain and suffering that has been inflicted on these people concerned. They have lost everything including their home.

If you could spare anything big or tiny it would be absolutely amazing and I would appreciate it enormously.

This is a very sensitive situation for several reasons therefore I ask you to refrain from referencing this appeal on any social media such as Facebook.
