Weʼve raised £65 to Reimburse a neighbour's scandalous vet fees after having their cat put down.

    Story

While I was walking Fluffy last week, he was doing his usual cat-hunting under parked vehicles.

99.9 percent of the time, cars are too low for Fluffy to reach the cats and they are able to claw at Fluffy's eyeballs from a safe position.

This time however, the cat misjudged the height of the flat-bed tipper truck she was hiding under and decided to go toe-to-toe with Fluffy instead of run-away. It did not end well for cat, who survived but was severely injured had to be put down.

The thing that I found most upsetting is that the Vet, a supposed lover of animals, demanded £400 for what must have been 5 minutes work to spare the cat and the owner further pain. I don't expect them to do it for free but £400 is a scandalous in my opinion.

Surely the cat owner has suffered enough with the loss a beloved family member, let's not let her be a victim of daylight robbery too.
