Story
In August this year Steve Marshall will be swimming the English channel to raise money to help Andy and his family. Andy has been diagnosed with terminal cancer. He is currently undergoing treatment to extend his life and wants to use this time to make memories with his wife Sally and son Harry.
Steve has been training for 2 years for this swim. He is an experienced swimmer but has never done anything like this before. He has a team who will be supporting him on the swim. The swim is 19 nautical miles and he expects it will take him 15 hours.
He has decided to do this to raise funds for Andy and his family.
Eve and her friends are going to do a 2mile ocean swim and would Also like to raise money for Andy. This will take place on Sunday10th September.

7 years agoThanks to everyone so far for the money raised. Steve attempted his swim last weekend but unfortunately became ill and couldn't finish. He was extremely dissappointed and feels like he has let everyone down. Obviously he hasn't and we are all extremely proud of him.
