In summer 2017,Eleanor will be traveling to Peru with the company Camps International. On my ethical journey I hope to help local communities throughout Peru, both rural and urbanised areas.
It was touching to find out that Peru has high numbers of illiterate children and women, along with 50% of the population living in poverty. During my expedition I hope to have positive influence on the local communities and help on local schemes such as buildings schools for example.
In addition I will be experiencing the culture and complete a 5 day trek up Machu Pichu along with meeting new people. This trip will be life changing and I am looking forward to it!
