As many of you know Austin was born with Group B strep bacterial infection which lead to meningitis and sepsis. The results of meningitis has left Austin with severe quadriplegic cerebral palsy. Austin is unable to communicate verbally, sit, stand or walk. He can not feed himself and has to have soft mash food.

We are raising money to send Austin on 2 rounds of 3 week intensive physio therapy, at The Foosteps Centre in Oxford. To find out more about Footsteps - http://www.footstepscentre.com

At Footsteps they work through play to achieve set goals. His main goal will be to attempt to actively play with his hands and to sit unaided for a few seconds at a time and roll over. Intensive physio therapy will help to strengthen Austin's muscle and enable him to feel that sitting and standing can be achieved albeit with a lot of hard work.

If we exceed the target the remaining funds will be donated direct to Footsteps to help fund physio for more disabled children.
