Story
Nigel and I will be raising money for the High Dependency Unit at Medway Hospital, to help, provide bedside fans for patients who are recovering from the ICU. The staff at Medway took care of Nigel last year and we want to give thanks to them by raising funds for items they need, which will give patients a more comfortable stay.
On Saturday 7th October 2017 National Colostomy Day, We will complete the Cuckoo Trail and cycle from Heathfield to Eastbourne and back covering 34 miles.
We wish to raise money for the hospital, and give inspiration to other Ostomy-mates, by showing that life goes on with a Stoma, and a healthy happy life is possible, with the support of family and friends and the wonderful Stoma nurses at Medway.

hi, my story is a simple one. I suffered from a burst appendix on holiday last summer, flew home by medic plane after 18 days in hospital, The brilliant medical team at Medway put me back together, and saved me, learnt to live with the addition of a Stoma, and Thankful to be here
