Iʼve raised £594 to Fund a Night-shelter project held in the large hall at One Church, Brighton over the winter months by playing beach volleyball for 8 hours.

Story
A group of churches across Brighton open their doors to the homeless over the cold, winter months. Each church raises its own money to facilitate the nights and we are one of those groups at One Church, Brighton. The money will allow us to provide filling, healthy evening meals; a warm, safe place to sleep and a hearty breakfast to send them on their way in the morning. All involved are volunteers, wanting to help within their own community.

6 years agoA week on and hopefully everyone has recovered. Thanks to everyone who turned up courtside and those who have donated. The chance to donate is only available online until tomorrow; so please do so if you haven't and meant to. We will keep accepting cash donations throughout the summer. We have reached a total of £905 (after expenses). Again, thanks to all who helped including the Yellowave team.

6 years agoAnd it's done. A fabulous day, shared with some amazing people for a great cause. At the moment we are at £829 (less expenses). Is it possible to get a few last minute donations and head towards a round £1000? Watch this space to find out.

6 years agoAnd we're on the home run. Less than 2 hours to the end of play. Thanks to all the wonderful people who have supported us by donating or playing. We're at 108% of our target.I wonder how high we can actually go! Thanks to all at Yellowave for helping us out.
