Story
I am walking the Welsh 3 peaks this October to raise money for Jason's care home.
Jason was diagnosed with Huntingdon Disease over ten years ago. We have continued to care for him at home until earlier this year when it became impossible to continue. Jason is now in a lovely home where he is surrounded by other residents suffering from a variety of illnesses that prevent them from living at home.
I am walking this arduous trek to raise money to fund fun activities at the home. The staff have gone out of their way to help Sophie, Jason and I cope with this huge change in our lives and have made every step of the way easier with their support and gentle encouragement. Jason is now happily settled and we are all adjusting to our change in circumstances. Now it's time to gave back and to give me something to focus on whilst I come to terms with this huge adjustment.
Please give generously to help get through the training!
