After thorough assessment by a consultant neurologist, a diagnosis of cerebral and cerebellar atrophy following road traffic accident was made. The implication being that his medical condition which was first noticed two years after an accident he had eight years ago has affected his central nervous system and over time, he has degenerated.

Lately, signs of degeneration has worsened warranting immediate and urgent referral by his neurologist to a hospital in the U. S for further expert management. An appointment with a neurologist at the University of Connecticut health center has been secured for 30th May and all arrangements for this trip has been put in place.

This medical visit is of utmost importance as this may be his long awaited opportunity to receive the right medical intervention needed in order to possibly manage his symptoms better and reduce the rate at which he is degenerating so he can live normally and have fulfilling family life with his young wife and two little sons.
