At the beginning of next summer, my daughter is fundraising to go with her school to Kwahu-Tafo in Ghana. The school have gone previously and have built the ground work and walls of the library. This time they hope to build the roof and equip the building with textbooks for the students at the local school to use and learn from. They are also looking to build a scholarship fund to help the children of Kwahu-Tafo attend school. Their schooling often finishes after Junior High School when the family can no longer afford to send them to school.
