Our fantastic staff team have signed up to cycle 220 miles during the Easter holiday to raise funds to buy a new minibus for the school!

We want to continue to build on the school's success by improving the resources in the school for all of the children to enjoy. The children have identified a wish to have access to a minibus to help with transport to local attractions, sporting and cultural venues as well as utilising the many educational opportunities available beyond the local area. Our curriculum provides the many rich opportunities for children to enjoy learning experiences beyond the local community.

We are aiming to raise £15k this year to provide a ‘nearly new’ minibus for the children and are well on the way to achieving this target. With the help of the PTA, families, staff and children we have already secured just over half of the amount.

To provide an additional focus for the fundraising, a group of staff are in training to complete a North to South Wales cycling challenge during the Easter holiday. Twelve of us, plus two providing support, will be setting off from Anglesey on Saturday 8th April, cycling an average of 75 miles a day, arriving in Cardiff during the evening of Monday 10th April (hopefully!)

Our target for this challenge is to raise £5k through sponsorship and donations.
