    Story

Oliver Brindley is a promising Flat Track Motorcycle racer from the UK who has spent the last two years chasing his dream to be a professional flat track racer competing at the highest level in the USA.

Unfortunately Oliver was caught up in a nasty crash at the 2019 season finale at Meadowlands in New Jersey on Saturday 28 September 2019.

Oliver has been left with some serious head injuries and will be facing a long road to full recovery. During this time Oliver and his UK based family will need the support of all his friends and fans. This page has been set up to help with the expenses that will be incurred during his journey to recovery.

Oliver was repatriated on Tuesday & is at his new hospital with specialists getting up to speed with his condition & explaining to the familiy how Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) is treated differently here. Oliver will be isolated for a few weeks to minimise risk of transferring any overseas infection & also he must be in quiet & peaceful environment for now. Please be patient in terms of visitation - he will benefit more from visits in future months, but keep your support & faith in him. Thank you for all the efforts towards getting him better!

Oliver remain in a coma almost two weeks after being admitted to a hospital which just happens to be amongst the best neurological hospitals in the USA. He has proved that he is able to breath unaided, although remains on a ventilator to allow him to rest. Oliver's brain is swollen and he has multiple fractures. Whilst the swelling is the most significant issue, there are positive responses to some stimuli. I have again increase the total to reflect the financial risk of uninsured costs as the medical costs grow significantly higher. ❤️ 🙏 🥑
