Having known someone living on the streets who passed away at 27, I'm doing 31 consecutive open mics in 31 days to raise money and awareness for the Beam Homeless Project which is endorsed by Sadiq Khan. As well as having minimal overheads, their mission is to get homeless people the qualifications they need to go into prospective jobs, which I feel is the most effective way we can help change the status of homelessness in this country.
