Olivia has been lucky enough to have been selected as part of a small group of students from Beckfoot School to go on an expedition to South India. Whilst there, they will be voluteering in a local community such as teaching English, painting class rooms, facility improvements in some of the small deprived local communities, as well as a challenging trek.

This is planned for July 2019 and Olivia has a challenge on her hands to raise £3000 to get there!

So far We‘ve: • Walked 2 of the 3 Yorkshire Peaks • Made Biscuits & Buns and had Sales • Done a Car Washing event • Held A Curry Night • A Royal Wedding Raffle • Made home-made Jams to sell I’m nearly halfway there – so I still need to raise lots more!!

NEXT EVENT IS THIS WEEKEND - Sponsored Hike up Mount Snowden At 1,085m Snowden is the highest mountain in Wales and a long way! (I’m also dragging Mum, Dad and Stanley (Age 7) up too

It’s a great opportunity working in a deprived community and may be a life changing experience that could also be the making of Olivia.

The areas they will be visiting and helping out are Chennai, Mettupalayam and Villupuram.
