You may be aware that I have spent the last year raising the awareness of the sparkling traditions and bountiful culture of Ondo – the special part of Nigeria that I am gifted to call my home.

As part of this, I have been working hard to organise an event in London which will showcase this wonderful place through an evening showcasing arts and culture.

The funds raised will be used for the organisation of our creative showcase which is a unique traditional event to unite and celebrate the Ondo Ekimogun diaspora community.

This event will bring together indigenous Ondo people from home and abroad, to congregate in London as a central celebration for bridging the gap, whilst showcasing rich Ondo culture and heritage.

The evening will include Obitun dances, an aso oke parade, comedy, ayoo-‘lopon game competition and ukoto game, all served with delicious traditional food (aasun, obela ‘lasepo, obe gbanunu, efo legede and much more)!

The occasion will be graced with live music by artists from Ondo Kingdom and the USA, and we’ll be holding an awards presentation and a raffle draw!
