Story
Oskar, age 5, is a very busy peedie boy who loves a challenge. Recently he's been asking lots of questions about Covid-19 and how it is affecting his friends, family and community. When he found out that there were people in Orkney who were struggling to afford to put food on the table he asked if there was something he could do to help.
Oskar thought that a sponsored cycle (like Dad had previously done) would be the most fun way to help raise some pennies for Orkney Foodbank.
His target is to cycle 20 miles in 7 days!

4 years agoOskar completed his 20-mile challenge this afternoon, one day early! We were delighted to have some of our lovely neighbours join us to cheer him on as he crossed the 'finish line.' Where he was presented with a trophy very generously donated by W. Hourston Jewellers. We are so proud of Oskar's unwavering commitment to completing his sponsored cycle. Thank you to everyone who has donated, we have been blown away by the kindness and generosity of our friends, family, people from the Orkney community and much further afield.
