A final thank you for everyone who acted so quickly and generously to help Martyn. The fundraising is now complete and will be frozen in the Crowdfunding account until details of Martyn’s housing costs come through from the authorities. Everybody’s generosity will ensure Martyn gets the assistance he needs to give him a real chance at a fresh start.

Hello everyone. Just a quick update following the amazing effort for Martyn’s fundraising. I have spoken with his close friends and can confirm that he is being put up by a good friend temporarily and there is now no fear of him being on the streets. The use of the money raised is being taken very seriously and Martyn does not have direct access to it. It will be used not only to physically help/house Martyn but also to provide emotional and educational support to ensure he is never in this position again. Thanks all

Thank you everyone so far for the support. Just to let you all know there’s a whole group of good people behind this project (I just set up the page) and we really appreciate the help so far. For those of you worried, we will not see Sav on the streets and various offers are coming in to house him until we can get this money to him to help with a deposit etc The conditions of this site are that you cannot withdraw until day 14 and it will take 6 to 10 days after that to clear into his account, minus their fee.
