Weʼve raised £540 to fund my Electrical Installations Course fees - I need training for a return to work after a hit-and-run car accident three years ago.

    Story

Due to being injured in the accident, I have not been able to continue my work as a taxi driver and have been claiming PIP benefit. I now wish to return to work as an electrician (a job I last did 20 years ago), but need training first.  I've recently done an exam to prove my suitability for a L2 Diploma in Electrical Installations at New City College Hackney.  I've registered for the three-year course, but I can't afford the £1,800 fees.

It would be very encouraging if I could raise my fees via crowdfunding. If I succeed in the first year of the course, I can obtain a college loan for two further years to complete the diploma. After doing two of the three years, I plan to get work as a qualified electrician.
