My friend Heather RItchie is at this moment out in the Gambia continuing her support of the blind and partially impaired - a fund raising cause which has enabled her to teach them to hook rugs to make a living - she is based in a school and unfortunately due to lack of funds the playground has gone to rack and ruin - I 've visited the school in 2010 and 2011 and have seen that for all the children are blind or partially impaired tbey love the playground - as all children do - my idea is to ask you to "PASS ON A POUND FOR THE PLAYGROUND " either by this just giving page are passing a pound on to my family or friends who will then pass it on to me. x
