Dave is our much loved colleague, he is an ambulance technician with the SAS. He has a beautiful wife Lesley and 2 gorgeous boys. Dave has recently been diagnosed with oral cancer, whilst his prognosis is very positive he is going to be off work for at least 12 months. He will require major surgery and intensive treatment. . This means he wont be able to work overtime etc and finances should be the least of his worries when he needs to put all his energies into getting better and being here with his family.
