On Monday 23rd and Tuesday 24th of July 2018, Greece witnessed one of the most horrible wildfire catastrophes in country's recent history, near Athens, in the area of Mati village.

Over 82 people died in this tragedy, more than 164 adults and 23 children were injured and hospitalised. Officials report that more than 715 individuals were evacuated from the area and the number of the missing people is still unknown (estimated more than 100).

Our fellow citizens suffer from the loss of their families and beloved ones, homes and personal belongings because of the wildfire. Through my campaign, I am trying to raise donations towards the special account created by the Greek Government for the victims support. Every donation, even the smallest one, can make a difference and will be greatly appreciated.
