Following 11 years of waiting, we are now at the stage of going through a Planning Appeals Commission process.

It is clear from the initial pre-hearing meeting and also the recent village meeting, that people from Parkgate and surrounding area need to nominate a suitably qualified agent who can provide legal / professional advice.

This agent will consider the concerns of the Community Group and represent us at the hearing. Our main concerns are disturbance of the site which is now home to a variety of flora and wildlife, the unsuitability of the Connor Road to cater for 20+, 20 ton lorries per hour and the effect that such heavy traffic would have on the centre of our village and the total disruption of village life
