Story
In July 2018 Robbie a highly talented and promising 13 year old footballer was diagnosed with an aggressive form of bone cancer, osteosarcoma. The tumour was in his right femur, and in order for Robbie to give himself the best chance of survival he is enduring 12 months of chemotherapy and major surgery. The major surgery that Robbie opted for is called rotationplasty, where the doctors completely remove the top half of the leg, and rotate and attach the bottom of the leg making the heel as the new knee joint, which will give Robbie natural movement like a knee when walking in his prosthetic. Robbie is only the 6th case in Scotland to have had this type of surgery and he is determined to help other young children with their own journeys.

Paul Burns
My son Dominic aged 13 played football with Robbie at Clydebank and through Robbie's cancer journey we have both been deeply impressed by his sense of humour, strength and "bring it on" attitude. Please help my hero, Robbie., as best you can. Many thanks. Paul aged 47 x
