I have set up a New, Community Interest Company, to help people who suffer mental illness.

1 in 4 of us will suffer or be recovering from a mental illness every year. It does not discriminate and it could happen, to anyone of us at any time, including you.

There is a gap, between people being diagnosed and the benefits agency deciding they have either to go back into education or work.

Our programme starts by helping people who have a diagnosis, to research and prepare questions to ask their specialist and get the answers they need, to understand, how this may affect them now and in the long term.

We work with our participants, to improve confidence and positivity through a series of tasks, discussions, group workshops and more.

The final stage of the programme is personal development at the end of which participants can ask to have a mentor assigned for as long as they feel they want one.
