I'm Flat-Footed, Fat, unfit and Asthmatic.
However I've signed up to run the Grangemouth Round the Houses 10K just 11 weeks training on 8th April having never ran a 10k. I have never ran for pleasure or competitively in the past so have no idea what i'm doing. This will present an additional challenge (as if I need it!) as I've always found running Boring, tedious and Pointless. Therefore I decided to at least remedy one of these and run for a purpose.
I am currently director of Youth rugby at Falkirk Rugby Club (Registered Charity SC044723) and have worked with children there for the last 7 years. I would therefore like to raise as much as possible to help the children with training equipment and to subsidise an end of year event.
Falkirk rugby club is a community rugby club that welcome anyone to comne along and try rugby regardless of your ability. Currently the club has a mini section (p1-7 boys and girls), midi section (U13-U18), Girls section (U13-U18), Ladies team, 2 Male teams and occasionally a social team for those who have seen the peak of their career pass them by (http://www.falkirkrfc.com/)
Please help me raise some money, I intend to purchase some new training equipment and subsidise an end of season event with any funds raised.
