Story
Hello my name is Pauline and I am looking for help to raise funds so I can marry my disabled partner Andrew. Andrew was originally from Hampshire but moved to Devon after he was run over by a drunk driver at the age of 21 which resulted in him losing his right leg. He married but it turned out to be a very abusive relationship and he didn't have the strength to leave as he wanted to support his children in their upbringing. The last attack on Andrew resulted in him losing his sight in one eye and partially sighted in the other. The last stay in hospital his sister intervened and bought Andrew back to Hampshire to live with her. Andrew regained his confidence and was able to move into a flat with the assistance of Radian Housing and was cared for by daily carers. I happened to one if these carers and we soon formed a special bond. I moved to another company so I could continue this relationship with him which has now been going from strength to strength for 2 years. We would love to get married but funds are very limited as we live on disability allowance and my carer wage. With everything Andrew has been through i really want to make this a special day and make him realise that there are some good people in this world. If you can help in any way to make our dreams come true this would be very appreciated. Thank you Pauline xxxxx
