    Story

Jessica, Gareth, Lauren, Saffron and Linda are team Wii Fit. We are staff on Sapphire Ward at the Whiteleaf Centre in Aylesbury who are taking part in the Pedometer Challenge 2018, which is a trust-wide wellbeing challenge that aims to help staff get fit, have fun and raise money for Oxford Health NHS Foundation Trust at the same time.

The monies raised will contribute towards purchasing a 3-in-1 pool/ air hockey/ table tennis table for the patients on Sapphire ward. This will enable the patients to engage in a meaningful activity and socialise with each other in a fun filled and positive way.

The challenge runs from 1 May 2018 to 31 May 2018. In that time, we are aiming to take as many steps as possible and compete against other teams in the trust, and at the same time, raise money to go towards patient activities.

If you have any change to spare, please feel free to sponsor our team. Any amount of monies per 100,000 steps would be greatly appreciated. The steps would be tallied up at the end of each week and will be added to this page for you to follow our progress. However, if you would like to donate to our cause, any donations would be welcomed and appreciated.

Thank you to everyone who has donated thus far! We're pretty much halfway through the challenge and have done a sum total of 467 274 steps between us. We'd still appreciate every penny you could spare to get us to our goal of £600, so if any one can donate or just share the page, we'd be grateful!
