Story
In September 2016 Blisland Community Shop and Cafe was in danger of closing having no money in the bank, through energetic fund raising and better management the shop and cafe are now financially stable. But funds are now needed to undertake essential repairs and pay off historic debt. The shop and cafe provide a life-line to the elderly in this remote Cornish village on the edge of Bodmin Moor, somewhere to go for a coffee and chat and to buy groceries.
Peter is also raising funds on this epic trip for the West Clare mini marathon cancer centre on the west coast of Ireland. to donate to this very worthy cause please visit www.idonate.ie/Petercauldwell

6 years agoA massive thankyou to all who supported Peter on his cycle across Ireland. Total raised for west Clare cancer centre is 902 euros and for Blisland Community Shop £1,072 An amazing result.

6 years agoThanks to everyone who has donated on and off line. Total raised now exceeds £1000. Plus another 900 euros raised for west Clare cancer centre in Ireland. A very big thankyou from Peter. He's recovered well from the trip and has even lost a few pounds (in weight!)

6 years agoIt's been a long and tiring day for Peter on the Wild Atlantic Way, as he cycles along the mountainous west coast peninisulars. He is on target to make Carrigaholt a week today, Sunday 15 July. Sponsorship looks likely to exceed the target set for both good causes! Please keep the sponsorship coming.
