On Sunday 12th January our friend and all round decent guy Phil Verdin suffered a catastrophic spinal cord inury whilst mountain biking.

He is paralysed from the neck down, early indication is that doctors may be able to restore some movement to his arms and hands - but this is tentative at this stage.

Phil and his fiancee Natalie's lives have been changed forever. We know that anyone who knows Phil will want to help. So we set up this just giving page.

If you ever met Phil, you'd know that he'd be the first to buy you a pint. So let's all act in kind and help him in his hour of need.

The funds raised will go help support him and Nat in this early stages of his recovery. Day to day living and hospital visits can be a real challenge when all earning ability is suddenly taken away.

We will be having more fund raising to help with any big costs that the future may bring for them, but for now we need to assist them through this initial emergency.
